a drop of moonlight
ignites a silver flame
in my heart
We all trade in the dark, never sure of making the right trade, the correct decision, or something better than an informed guess. Darkness surrounds the timing of a trade as well. Did we get in too soon . . . too late?
Let’s befriend darkness, inviting her into our office, sharing a tea ceremony, hoping she’ll reveal her secrets. The one secret every trader is anxious to know is, “How do I see in the dark?” With eyes streaming moonlight. Nice image. But what does that mean?
Our True Path
It means that sunlight is too bright to see clearly. Too precise. It’s too exacting to allow us to see around the edges, into the shadows, through the dark woods. Like Dante, we need a guide to tell us to go deeper – even through Hell itself – to discover our true path.
She has eyes of steaming moonlight.
Her heart a silver flame.
From her breath, the scent of lilacs.
She flows through the mist . . . the rain.
