31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40: 31, KJV).
Listen
Sometimes when your trading is going badly, all you can do is pray for guidance and wait upon the Lord. If you become extremely frustrated and your ego tries to frantically embrace new trading techniques to end the drought, you will only be throwing good money after bad. Remember, God is your trading coach and you need to listen. These points are true for living life spiritually as well as trading.
No Guarantees
There is no guarantee that God will rescue you. You may need to go through hard times for your spiritual development. “The ultimate foundation of faith is not that everything will be alright but that the soul can be sustained whether things are all right or not. From this comes the strength to endure things as they are and grow stronger in the process” (Healing Body and Soul: The Meaning of Illness in the New Testament and in Psychotherapy by John A. Sanford, p. 60).
Soar
Once God’s requisite time period has ended and hopefully suffering has transformed into meaning, you can now soar “with wings as eagles.” This means you can view your trading and your life from a larger and higher perspective. You can “run and not be weary.” This means you can accelerate your spiritual process and your trading to their fastest pace. You are at one with the wind.
