5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:5-7, KJV).
Stand Under
Understanding can be viewed as standing under—not exalting yourself because you have knowledge. Trust that God will provide you with the necessary information for any situation you may face. God may send you this information through your intuition, through others, or through synchronicities.
Humility
If you embrace humility and exalt God, you will be protected from arrogance. If you have a healthy fear of God, you will be less likely to fall prey to evil. The universe is not random and God’s moral laws will prevail within the souls of all God’s people.
Purpose
As a trader, it is important to cloak yourself in humility. The danger of losing money through arrogance is great. Stand under the market and you may get glimmers of understanding of the market. If you are rooted in the firm ground of faith, you may come to realize each trade you take has its purpose—to increase your knowledge of the market and/or yourself.
Through God’s Eyes
Learn to see through God’s eyes and be truly wise. Wisdom without devotion is hollow. So is trading without deeper meaning. Seek God’s perspective of your trading and enter a new world.
