Psalm 130
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
Suffering
Is trading synonymous with suffering? On some days. Suffering gives you the opportunity to fall into the depths of your soul . . . and wait for God.
Softening
Is trading synonymous with softening? Only if you let it be. In the soul depths when God arrives, He brings mercy. You need a soft heart to graciously receive His mercy.
Sin
Is trading synonymous with sin? Sometimes. Especially when money is more important than God or walking the spiritual path. But remember, God can redeem you . . . deliver you from sin . . . deliver you from evil.
Waiting for God
Why wait for God? Because encountering God can be transformational. God can transform your attitudes, emotions and worldview. God can guide you through your depths and trials of life. If you want your trading and your life to have more meaning, allow God to transform it.
