“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” (2 Corinthians 3:4-6, KJV).
Vessel for God
As a trader, you may be called to develop a trading style grounded in the Spirit. Perhaps, you may be called to speak about your spiritual trading perspective. As long as you are a vessel for God, your words should be true and need no worldly justification. Jesus granted you this freedom of expression long before the first amendment was written.
Serve God
“But it should be stressed that this freedom is not license to do as one pleases. The egocentric ego likes to fancy that it can do anything it wants and equates this with freedom . . . . The mystery is that there is only one freedom for the ego and that is to serve the Center within. Practically speaking this is tantamount to serving the will of God” (Mystical Christianity: A Psychological Commentary on the Gospel of John by John A. Sanford, p.171).
God of Freedom
If you are called by God to trade, then you are free to trade within God’s parameters. What are God’s parameters? They are unique ways of trading tailor-made for each individual. Freedom within a spiritual structure. God’s directions can liberate you from the tyranny of trading shoulds. As Carl Jung once said, “The real Christ is the God of freedom” (Dream Analysis by C.G.Jung, p.519).
