Welcome to TraderEducatorOnline.com. I’m Terry Chitwood. I graduated in 1976 from the University of South Dakota with a Doctor of Education degree with a specialty in counseling. In addition, I studied theology at the Episcopal seminary in Sewanee, Tennessee, during the summers of 1991 and 1992. I was a Jungian psychotherapist in private practice for 40 years. I’m now retired from the practice of psychotherapy. Also, I am the author of the following books: How to Defend Yourself Without Even Trying (1981, topic Aikido), Meeting Force with Silence(1985, topic Aikido), and Death: The Beginning of Life (1988, topic Jungian Psychotherapy). I am a musician, songwriter, and poet as well.I have been observing and analyzing the markets since my first trade (silver) in 1979. Since I minored in creative writing during my bachelor’s degree, I am able to succinctly communicate my observations and analyses. I am well-read in a variety of fields, so I am able to synthesize and disseminate relevant information that pertains to trading. This is not a completely altruistic undertaking. I will be able to let my creativity express itself, learn more through teaching others, lucidly organize and express my trading ideas, and make extra money through affiliate advertising, along with other non-formulated and yet-to-be-articulated benefits. To paraphrase yoga master Sri Aurobindo, through helping others I help myself. Also, this saying expresses a Bodhisattva principle from Mahayana Buddhism. For clarification purposes, I am a Christian who has studied the major world religions. |

My daughter, Christina, and her English husband, Tom, moved to San Diego after Christina lived for almost five years in Sheffield, England, where Christina and Tom met. Christina is a skating coach/choreographer, professional ice dancer, Pilates and Zumba instructor, and personal trainer. Tom is a golf pro and personal trainer. Although Christina was not formally taught to trade, she learned by osmosis. From the time she was a Very Little Girl (a favorite book of Christina’s), during market uptrends she would point at my computer’s real-time S & P charts and say, “Buy.” |
